Based on the latest updates, Xiaomi has made the debut date for its Redmi official. Moreover, the Redmi 7 would arrive in the Indian smartphone market after going official in China. Besides, the brand prepares to launch the Redmi Note 7 Pro in China. Furthermore, Xiaomi has also revealed the poster of the Redmi showcasing the same design as the Redmi Note. In details, the poster shows a dot drop notch display.

Looking at the dual tone design, users can find bezel-less display and dual camera setup on the rear panel. According to the Xiaomi officials, the new Redmi phone would retain 3.5mm headphone jack and an IR blaster. As it concerns, the new Redmi phone brings out smart home devices at the launch event. Whereas, Xiaomi Redmi 7 specs feature a 6.26-inch LCD HD+ display with 1520×720 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi phone sports a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 710 processor with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of ROM. According to the benchmark listing, the Xiaomi phone ships with Android 9 Pie-based MIUI 10. Whereas, Xiaomi Redmi camera sports a dual 12MP rear camera setup with AI support and an 8MP selfie sensor. Based on TENAA listing, the Redmi 7 revealed would be having a 4,000mAh battery. Furthermore, Xiaomi launched the Redmi 6 in India after one month from its launch in China.

According to the leading OEM, the new phone in the Redmi series on March 18, 2019, in Beijing, China. Previously in January 2019, Xiaomi CEO confirmed the Xiaomi Redmi 7 price is falling between CNY,000 to CNY 8,000 (~INR,000 to INR 8,000). However, this pricing could be for the standard variant with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. At the moment, Xiaomi is yet to reveal the global launch timeline for the Redmi including India.
