As mentioned above, Vivo is reportedly gearing up to launch a new smartphone, which is the successor of the Vivo V11 Pro. According to the report, the new phone would arrive with three to four industry-first features. Notably, there could be new developments in the camera department of the device. However, we might need to wait a little longer until there are further official announcements from Vivo.

Regarding the Vivo V12 Pro specs, the mobile features a 6.41″ (16.28 cm) display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Furthermore, the Vivo smartphone is likely to get power from an octa-core 2.2GHz Snapdragon 710 chipset and Adreno 616 GPU. In details, the chipset includes dual cores of Kryo 360 at 1.7 GHz and other six cores. Moreover, the Vivo device is seemingly to work on the Android Pie 9.0.

Otherwise, the Vivo handset provides 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard memory. Moreover, the inbuilt storage does support to expand up to 256GB with a dedicated microSD card slot. As far as it concerns, the battery has a 3700mAh of capacity. On the other side, Vivo V12 Pro camera features a dual 16MP + 5MP rear cameras and a 25MP selfie shooter. Meanwhile, other sensors include Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Compass, Gyroscope. Also, there remains a rear-mounted fingerprint reader, so we might not see the in-display sensor, unfortunately.

Vivo V12 Pro release date and price

From what we learned so far, V12 Pro would be available for purchase through both online and offline channels as the prior model. Whereas, the Vivo device starts launching in the Indian market by the end of February. According to the report, it indicates that the Vivo V12 Pro price should start between Rs. 20,000 ($281) and Rs. 30,000 ($422). However, the phone would cost a bit higher than the Vivo V11 Pro launched for Rs. 25,990 ($365).
