As far as it concerns, the 5G network support is the hot topic of recent days. From what we learned so far, the phone makers are trying to come with their announcement of the next 5G phone. Moreover, Ulefone does not want to stay behind in such activities, so they announced through a short explosive Youtube video. In details, the new Armor 6 is the world’s first rugged 5G phone.

Under the hood, the Ulefone device would be featuring the plug-in M70 baseband chip. According to what we learned, the core might be the fresh new 5G baseband chipset released by Mediatek on December 6th. On the other side, the Ulefone Armor 6 is the classical rugged Ulefone device featuring the Helio P60 processor with first gen AI chip. Furthermore, Ulefone Armor 6 specs pack 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Moreover, the storage is expandable to 256GB via a microSD card slot. Otherwise, Ulefone Armor 6 camera sports dual 21MP+13MP rear cameras and a 13MP selfie shooter. On the other side, the handset works on a 6.2-inch notched screen. Whereas, the phone display equips with the resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. Furthermore, the Ulefone ships with a 5000mAh battery capacity. According to our legit sources, the Ulefone runs on Android Oreo 8.0 based Freeme OS customization.

From what we learned so far, the actual release of the Ulefone is penciled in for a January launch. However, there was a twist since the handset would be first only the 4G version and the 5G version network testing in Q2 2019. Also, Ulefone Armor 6 price starts from Rs. 15, 990 ~ $224.
