Lava has finally launched its new budget smartphone, the Yuva 3, in India. The phone succeeds the Lava Yuva 2 and joins the Lava Yuva 3 Pro, which was unveiled in December 2023. The company announced its new device for users who want a basic smartphone with good storage, processor, and smart charging. The design of the Lava Yuva 3 is heavily inspired by the iPhone 15 Pro, especially the camera module.
In detail, the Lava Yuva 3 cameras include a triple AI camera setup, led by a 13MP primary shooter, AI camera, and a VGA sensor. Besides there is also a 5 MP selfie camera at the front. Under the hood, the Lava handset is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T606 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM that can be virtually expanded by an additional 4GB. Moreover, it gets up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage.
The Lava Yuva 3 specs sport a 6.5-inch HD+ (720 x 1,600 pixels) display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Unlike most budget smartphones, which run on custom Android skin, Lava Yuva 3 offers stock Android with literally no bloatware. This Lava device boots Android 13 as the operating system.
