Huawei P40 Pro specs
According to the latest reports, Huawei is planning to launch the Huawei P40 series next year. Moreover, the higher model Pro is reportedly going to have many improvements in terms of hardware, compared to its predecessor P30 Pro. Besides, this handset offers a 6.5 inches 2K OLED Waterfall display 120Hz Refresh Rate 98% screen to body ratio. As for the capacity, this Huawei beast should bear a Non-removable Li-Po 5500 mAh graphene battery.
In addition, the smartphone could take advantage of the new 50W fast charging technology developed by Huawei. Thanks to it, the device could reach 100% in 45 minutes. Under the hood, the Huawei flagship should take power from a Kirin 990 chipset with 5G modem Baloong 5000; the same SoC that equips the brand new Huawei Nova 6 5G or Mate 30 for example. Moreover, the news also suggests the Huawei phone would run on Android 10 with the EMUI 10 interface.
Regarding the photography department, Huawei P40 Pro camera packs a quad sensor setup on rear snapping. It consists of a 64MP( Sony IMX686 1/1.7 inch, supports OIS) +20MP ultra-wide camera+12 MP (Periscope) telephoto lens +Macro camera + ToF. At the front-facing, this device can carry a single 32MP lens for taking selfies and video calls. On the other side, this smartphone sports an 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Release date and price
The leaker did not mention a potential release date or price range for the Huawei P40 Pro. However, we know that the P40 and P40 Pro are expected for the first quarter of this year.
