After Samsung Galaxy Fold, a large number of foldable phones from different brands are on the process. Recently, the Chinese manufacturer, Huawei has confirmed the release date of Huawei Mate X. Also, this phone is the first device which can be folded of Huawei. Firstly, Mate X can be available later this year. However, the company has been pretty vague about the launch date. The Vmall (a Huawei-run online retailer) has shown the information via a slip-up.

According to this slip-up, the foldable phone of Huawei is available in June. Moreover, Mate X is also the first device of the Chinese brand having 5G support. Now, let’s move on the display of this phone. Under the hood, Huawei Mate X specs feature an 8-inch OLED FullView Display with a resolution of 2480 x 2200 pixels. Besides, in the folded state, there is a 6.6-inch screen with a resolution of 1148 x 2480 pixels, along with 19:5:9 aspect ratio.

Powering the Mate X is Hisilicon Kirin 980 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256GB). Besides, this device runs on Android 9.0 Pie. On the other hand, Mate X rocks a non-removable 4500mAh battery that supports for the 55W Huawei SuperCharge technology. Moreover, regarding the photography system, Huawei Mate X camera packs quad-camera setup on its back. It consists a 40MP (f/1.8, PDAF) + 16MP (f/2.2, ultrawide) + 8MP (f/2.4, telephoto) + TOF camera.

As mentioned above, we can see this phone in June. As for the cost, Huawei Mate X price starts at €2,300, which is approximately $2,595. Additionally, in India, the Huawei phone costs Rs. 178,889.
