We got our first peek at the impending Google Pixel Fold 2, and it looked strange. There was no longer a camera ‘visor’ on the rear but rather a rounded rectangular island with two oval-shaped portions within, stacked on top of each other to carry the cameras. It just seemed incomplete, like a prototype. However, it appears that Google is sticking with this design since CAD-based renderings of the Pixel Fold 2 were released today, and the phone looks identical to the one in the hands-on image from earlier this month.
The inner screen features an under-display selfie camera in the upper right corner, resulting in significantly reduced bezels than the original Pixel Fold. The USB-C port, speaker grille, and SIM tray are all located on the lower frame, with the power and volume controls on the right.
